Manganese is one of the essential trace elements. The supply comes primarily from food, as our body is not able to produce the substance independently. On average, around 10-40mg of the nutrient is found in our body. Most of it is in the bones, while the rest is distributed in hair pigments, kidneys, pancreas, liver and muscles.
For the connective tissue
Manganese supports the energy metabolism because it supports the production of energy for the organism from carbohydrates, fats and proteins. The trace element also contributes to cell protection by protecting the cells from oxidative stress caused by free radicals.
