Manganese dietary supplement
The capsules from ViVe Supplements provide you with high-dose manganese: 10mg per capsule and daily dose. For good bioavailability we use manganese gluconate.
Manganese is one of the essential trace elements. The supply comes primarily from food, as our body is not able to produce the substance on its own. On average, there are about 10-40mg of the micronutrient in our body. The majority is found in the bones, while the rest is distributed between hair pigments, kidneys, pancreas, liver and muscles.
For connective tissue
Manganese supports energy metabolism. The trace element also contributes to cell protection by protecting cells from oxidative stress caused by free radicals.
The substance also promotes the maintenance of normal bones. Manganese also acts as an important co-factor for enzymes involved in the synthesis of glycosaminoglycans, which makes it very important for the formation of our connective tissue.
Manganese in the diet
On the one hand, manganese can be supplied to the body from meat, fish, milk and dairy products. However, animal sources only contain small amounts.
