High-dose glutathione
This dietary supplement from ViVe Supplements provides you with high-dose L-glutathione, which is in its active, reduced form. One tablet contains a daily dose of 500mg L-glutathione.
L-glutathione is a so-called tripeptide, which is formed in the liver from the amino acids glutamic acid, cysteine and glycine, so the body can produce the substance independently. The basic requirement for this, however, is that all building blocks must be present, otherwise a glutathione deficiency can occur. To prevent a deficiency, it can be useful to take glutathione in the form of food supplements.
Reduced and active form
Glutathione plays a role in many processes in the animal and plant organism, for example it helps plants to protect cells from oxidative stress. The tripeptide comes in two forms - oxidized and reduced. To ensure optimal bioavailability, we offer reduced glutathione in its active form.
Glutathione in food
Glutathione can be taken from various sources. Animal sources include, for example, fresh liver. However, the largest amounts of glutathione are found in plant-based foods such as brewer's yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae). Various types of fruit and vegetables also contribute to the glutathione supply. The glutathione content depends on processing, preparation and storage.
Recommended consumption:
Adults take 1 tablet daily with a meal and plenty of water.
